Brigit's Garden

Pollagh, Rosscahill, Galway

A warm, engaging experience for the active retired.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Brigit’s Garden where ancient wisdom meets contemporary design.

Brigit's Garden is a Garden & Celtic Heritage Center on the doorstep of Connemara. Our Visitor Centre, comprising of The Shop and The Garden Café, is the perfect place for a break just 20km from Galway City.  Our 4 main landscaped gardens represent Celtic fire festivals and are surrounded by meadows sown with native wildflowers, a lake, a fairy fort, Roundhouse, Crannóg, native woodland paths and many more surprises.

A walk through the four Gardens takes you on a journey through the Celtic cycle of the seasons, each garden representing one of the Celtic festivals of Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine and Lughnasa. This seasonal cycle mirrors the cycle of life from conception to old age and death. The design weaves Celtic stories with contemporary design to create spaces that are beautiful and tranquil yet inspiring and full of life.

Our Garden Café serves up freshly prepared food by our chef Sarah, using the best local produce with salads and herbs from the Gardens.  Enjoy tea or coffee and scones on the patio or in our bright new café overlooking The Gardens.  The gift shop at Brigit's Garden sells carefully chosen pieces to delight and inspire. Each item has been lovingly selected to reflect the beauty of the garden and many of our items are produced locally.

Whether you are a tour group, community group, spiritual group or independent traveller, you will find a unique experience and a warm welcome at Brigit's Garden.
